Introduction

Mines is an Astro integration that turns a folder of MDX files into a documentation site. It ships a compact layout, a small set of prose components, full-text search, llms.txt and generated Open Graph images. No UI framework: every piece is plain HTML, CSS and a few lines of TypeScript.

What you get

Header, sidebar, table of contents, pager and edit links, derived from your folder structure.

Static full-text search powered by Pagefind, opened with ⌘ K.

Made for LLMs

Every page is also served as Markdown, plus llms.txt and llms-full.txt.

Principles

Compact. Small type, tight spacing and narrow chrome keep the content in focus.
Quiet. Icons appear only where they are the control. Color is reserved for state.
Owned. Every layout slot can be replaced with your own Astro component.
